A line of Arabic verse has two halves, each completing the other. This abaya is divided the same way: one half in a raised black floral texture from lapel to hem, the other plain black. The dividing line carries on across the back, splitting it lengthwise. A blazer collar, a flap pocket on each side and a straight cut to the ankle.
